EUR/USD is trading near a 3-week high
Today, the EUR/USD pair is trading in the range of 1.0390 to 1.0420 after rising to a 3-week high of 1.0460 yesterday. On the hourly chart, the pair has gained a foothold above the MA (200) H1 (1.0325) moving average line and is testing MA (200) H4 (1.0400) on the four-hour chart. Based on the above, it is probably worth starting to stick to the northern direction in trading and as long as the pair remains above the MA 200 H1, it is necessary to look for entry points to buy. Technically speaking, the resistance of 1.0460 has kept EUR/USD from further growth so far. The lower boundary of 1.0340 represents a strong support level.
Resistance levels are: 1.0460, 1.0540, 1.0595
Support levels are: 1.0390, 1.0325-40, 1.0260
The main scenario for the pair's advance suggests a breakout of the resistance at 1.0460 (Dec 30 high, session high) and there may be an increase towards 1.0540 (Jan 11 and 17 high).
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the session low of 1.0390 and there may be a decline to 1.0325-40 (Jan 21 low, МА (200) Н1)
