Yesterday, the USD/CAD pair was trading in the range of 1.4335-1.4415 and closed the session near the price of 1.4385. Today, the pair started trading with a decrease of 1.4385 to 1.4320. On the hourly chart, the pair is testing the MA (200) H1 moving average line (1.4380) and the MA 200 H4 line (1.4333) on the four-hour chart. Based on the above, it is probably worth sticking to the northern direction in trading and until the pair is fixed below the MA 200 H1, it is necessary to look for entry points to buy at the end of the correction
Resistance levels are at: 1.4415, 1.4460, 1.4515
Support levels are at: 1.4300, 1.4260, 1.4210
The main scenario for the pair's advance suggests a breakout of the resistance at 1.4415 (Jan 23 high), an increase to 1.4460 (high of the American session on Jan 21) and then maybe to 1.4515 (Jan 21 high).
An alternative scenario implies a decline to 1.4300 (Jan 22 low) and then maybe to 1.4260 (Jan 20 low).
