USD/JPY retreated slightly from the 11-week low
Today, the USD/JPY pair is mostly rising from an 11-week low of 149.30 to 150.75. On the hourly chart, USD/JPY remains below the MA (200) H1 moving average line (152.05) and below MA (200) H4 (154.60) on the four-hour chart. Based on the above, it is probably worth following the southern direction in trading and as long as the pair remains below the MA 200 H1, it is necessary to look for entry points to sell. Technically speaking, the support of 149.30 has kept USD/JPY from further decline so far. The upper limit of 152.30 represents a strong resistance level.
Resistance levels are: 150.95, 152.05-30, 153.85
Support levels are: 149.30, 148.65, 147.30
The main scenario for the pair's advance implies a breakout of the session low of 149.30 (Dec 5 low) and a possible decline to 148.65 (Dec 3 low)
An alternative scenario assumes an increase to 150.95 (Feb 7 low) and then, maybe, to 152.05-30 (highs on Feb 18-19, MA (200) H1).
