EUR/USD remains in an uptrend
Today, the EUR/USD pair is trading in the range of 1.0820-65 after rising this week to a new 5-month high of 1.0960. There is an uptrend on the hourly chart, which changed to a corrective downward movement after reaching a local maximum. The pair is trading below the MA (200) H1 moving average line (1.0890), which indicates a possible weakening of the bullish momentum. Support levels are located at 1.0815 and 1.0765, and the nearest resistance is at 1.0890. The MACD indicator shows signs of a possible upward reversal after a prolonged downward phase, however, the histogram remains near zero, which indicates the weakness of the current momentum. If the price manages to gain a foothold above 1.0890, this may lead to further growth to 1.0960, otherwise, selling pressure will increase, and a move to 1.0815 and below is possible.
Resistance levels are: 1.0890, 1.0960, 1.1000
Support levels are: 1.0815, 1.0765, 1.0675
The main scenario for the pair's advance implies a breakout of MA (200) H1 (1.0890) and there may be an increase to 1.0950 (Oct 10-11 and March 18 high)
An alternative scenario suggests a breakout of support at 1.0815 (March 20 low) and a possible decline to 1.0765 (March 6 low)
