USD/JPY is trading near a monthly high
Today, the USD/JPY pair is trading in the range of 150.35-151.20- near a new monthly high, there is a steady upward trend on the hourly chart, confirmed by the price's location above the MA (200) moving average line (149.85). The price is steadily updating local highs, which indicates the strength of buyers. The support level is in the area of 149.85, where pullbacks took place earlier, and the key resistance is located near 151.20-151.30. The MACD indicator shows a decrease in the histogram, which may signal a temporary correction or weakening of the upward momentum. However, as long as the price remains above the moving average, the probability of continued growth remains high.
Resistance levels are: 151.20-30, 152.30, 153.15
Support levels are: 150.05, 149.45, 148.60
The main scenario for the pair's advance implies a breakout of 151.20-30 (Feb 22 high, session high) and there may be an increase to 152.30 (Feb 19 high)
