EUR/USD shows a steady upward movement
On the hourly chart, the EUR/USD pair shows a steady upward movement, trading near the 1.1420 level after reaching a local maximum at 1.1440. A steady consolidation above the MA (200) H1 moving average confirms the change of the short-term trend to bullish.
The MACD indicator also confirms the strengthening of the upward momentum: the histogram is confidently in the positive zone and continues to expand, and the signal line is pointing upward. The overall technical picture indicates continued upward pressure, especially when the price holds a position above 1.1390. A return below 1.1310 will weaken the bullish scenario.
Resistance levels are: 1.1440, 1.1550, 1.1575
Support levels are: 1.1390, 1.1310, 1.1255
The main scenario for the pair's advance suggests a breakout of the session high of 1.1440 (April 23 high) and may be towards 1.1550 (April 22 high)
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the 1.1390 support (May 30 high) and there may be a decline to 1.1310 (May 30 low).
