USD/CHF maintains steady downward trend
On the hourly chart, the USD/CHF currency pair maintains a steady downward trend, trading below the MA (200) H1 moving average, which continues to indicate the predominance of sellers. After updating the local low in the area of 0.8055, the quote attempted to recover, but the growth was limited to the resistance of 0.8150, above which the price could not gain a foothold. Currently, the pair is consolidating near the 0.8105 level, showing signs of weakness and possible preparation for a new wave of decline. The MACD indicator confirms the selling pressure: the histogram is decreasing and approaching the zero line, showing no signs of momentum recovery. If the downward pressure persists, the pair may test the nearest support at 0.8055. On the other hand, consolidation above 0.8150 may weaken the bearish sentiment and lead to a corrective growth towards 0.8190. The overall picture remains negative, while the trend is downward.
