GBP/USD shows an upward movement
On the hourly chart of the GBP/USD pair, there is an upward trend after the breakdown of the resistance level of 1.3510 and a steady movement above the moving average of MA (200) H1. The price reached a local maximum around 1.3650 and is now consolidating slightly lower, around 1.3610. The current structure indicates a possible pause before continuing growth, with the nearest support at 1.3580. The MACD indicator shows a decrease in the histogram after reaching the peak, which may signal a slowdown in the bullish momentum. However, if the price remains above 1.3580 and especially above 1.3510, the overall mood remains positive, and a breakdown of the 1.3650 resistance will open the way to the next important level of 1.3670. In case of correction below 1.3580, testing of the 1.3510 area is likely.
