EUR/USD is trading near a 2-week high
Yesterday, the EUR/USD pair traded in different directions: it decreased from a 2-week high of 1.0440 to 1.0340, but during the American trading it rose again, regaining all the lost positions. Today, the pair started trading in the range of 1.0390-1.0430, slightly below the closing level of yesterday's session. On the hourly chart, EUR/USD has risen above the MA (200) H1 (1.0300) moving average line and is testing MA (200) H4 (1.0400) on the four-hour chart. Based on the above, it is probably worth starting to stick to the northern direction in trading and while the pair is fixed above the MA 200 H1, it is necessary to look for entry points to buy.
Resistance levels are at: 1.0440-60, 1.0540, 1.0595
Support levels are at: 1.0340, 1.0300, 1.0260
The main scenario for the pair's advance assumes a breakout of the resistance area of 1.0440-60 (Dec 30, Jan 6-7 and 20-21 highs) and there may be an increase to 1.0540 (Dec 11 and 17 high)
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the support of 1.0340 (Jan 21 low) and MA (200) H1 (1.0300) and there may be a decline to 1.0260 (Jan 15-16 low)
