The USD/CAD pair is trading near a 2-week low
Yesterday, the USD/CAD pair declined from 1.4450 to 1.4280, reaching a 2-week low. During the American trading, the pair regained its positions a little, but still closed on an unruly note near the price of 1.4325. Today, the pair started trading down again and dropped to around 1.4310. On the hourly chart, USD/CAD has fallen below the MA (200) H1 moving average line (1.4385), but on the four-hour chart it remains above the MA 200 H4 line (1.4200). Based on the above, it is probably worth sticking to the northern direction in trading and until the pair is fixed below the MA 200 H1, it is necessary to look for entry points to buy to form a correction.
Resistance levels are at: 1.4380-85, 1.4465, 1.4565
Support levels are at: 1.4280, 1.4210, 1.4120
The main scenario for the pair's advance assumes a breakout of the resistance of 1.4380-85 (high of the American session on Jan 6, MA (200) H1) and there may be an increase to 1.4465 (Dec 19 and Jan 3 high).
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the support 1.4280 (Jan 6 low) and a possible decline to 1.4210 (Dec 13 low).
