NZD/USD declines and tests MA (200) H1
Today, the NZD/USD pair is declining from 0.5650 to 0.5590 and has almost dropped to a more than 2-year low.0.5585, recorded earlier on January 2. On the hourly chart, the NZD/USD is testing the MA (200) H1 (0.5630) moving average line and remains below MA (200) H4 (0.5760) on the four-hour chart. Based on the above, it is probably worth following the southern direction in trading and as long as the pair remains below the MA 200 H1, it is necessary to look for entry points for sales at the end of the correction. Technically speaking, the 0.5585 support may keep the pair from further decline. If this level is breached, the NZD/USD may fall to 0.5510. The upper limit of 0.5695 represents a strong resistance level.
Resistances are at the marks: 0.5640, 0.5695, 0.5740
An alternative scenario: 0.5585, 0.5510, 0.5400
The main scenario of the pair's movement assumes a breakout of the support 0.5585 (Jan 2 low) and there may be a decrease of 0.5510 (Oct 13’ 2022 low)
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the session high of 0.5650 and there may be an increase to 0.5695 (Jan 7 high)
