EUR/USD remains above MA (200) H1
On the hourly chart, the EUR/USD pair shows a moderate decline after reaching a local maximum around 1.1455, which coincides with the resistance level, where the price encountered active profit-taking. The current quote is at 1.1400, and the correction is taking place against the background of overbought conditions previously recorded by the MACD indicator. At the same time, the MACD histogram began to decline, approaching the zero line, which indicates a slowdown in the upward momentum. The price is still holding above the MA (200) H1 moving average, which runs around 1.1350, which indicates a continuing overall upward trend in the medium term. Overall, the technical picture remains neutral and positive, but the current movement signals a possible short-term correction in the framework of profit-taking.
Resistance levels are: 1.1455, 1.1550, 1.1575
Support levels are: 1.1350, 1.1310, 1.1255
The main scenario for the pair's advance suggests a breakout of the session high of 1.1455 and there may be an increase to 1.1550 (April 22 high)
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of MA (200) H1 (1.1350) and there may be a decline to 1.1310 (May 30 low).
