European Focus. Asian data supported USD. The market awates for Trishe's conference.

Japanese and China officials mentioned that they don't want to see the weak USD - the main factor that supported the currency today. Today the vice minister of finance of China Li Yong said that China " is concerned by falling of dollar against yen ". The dollar lost 2.2% after the G7 has called the Asian countries to let their currencies appreciate. Minister of Finance of Japan Sadakazu Tanigaki said, " the markets have incorrectly interpreted the massage of G7"/ That echoes the comments of the vise minister of the finance of Japan Hiroshi Watanabe one week ago, and also words of the chairman of the Federal reserve Ben Bernanke and president of ECB Jean-Claude Triche.
Euro also became under pressure before decision of ECB about rates which will be announced later. Analysts predict ECB will leave the basic rate at current levels in 2.5 %. However the main fact is going to be a traditional press conference of Jean-Claude Triche. Participants of the market expect to hear precise hints on the further increase of interest rates. The report published today indicated the increase of service PMI in Eurozone in April to 5-years high. And the index of business optimism of German research institute IFO (IFO диаграмма), published on April, 25th, has reached 15-years peak.
Later the market will see the report on productivity of the American workers. According to analysts the data rose 3% y/y in the first quarter after -0.5% earlier. Also the Labor Department will publish Jobless Claims data for the last week.
