On Friday, the USD/CAD pair mostly declined in the range of 1.4315-85 and closed the session near the price of 1.4350. Today, the pair started trading with growth in the range of 1.4355-1.4400. On the hourly chart, the pair is testing the MA (200) H1 moving average line (1.43875), and on the four-hour chart it rose slightly above the MA 200 H4 (1.4345). Based on the above, it is probably worth sticking to the northern direction in trading and as long as the pair remains above the MA 200 H4, it is necessary to look for entry points to buy at the end of the correction
Resistance levels are at: 1.4415, 1.4460, 1.4515
Support levels are at: 1.4300-15, 1.4260, 1.4210
The main scenario for the pair's advance suggests a breakout of the resistance at 1.4415 (Jan 23 high), an increase to 1.4460 (high of the American session on Jan 21) and then maybe to 1.4515 (Jan 21 high).
An alternative scenario implies a decline to 1.4300-15 (Jan 22 and 24 lows) and then maybe to 1.4260 (Jan 20 lows).
