We also add that the drop in the value of gold has contributed information that Goldman Sachs lowered its forecast for the price of gold for 2013 and 2014. Meanwhile, it was reported that Goldman Sachs started to open short positions in the gold futures on the COMEX.
May futures on COMEX gold fell today, and now stands at 1569.50 dollars per ounce.
