The company's quarterly revenues amounted to $3.911 bln (+6.2% y/y), beating analysts' consensus estimate of $3.689 bln.
FCX rose to $12.40 (+0.65%) in pre-market trading.
American Airlines (AAL) reported Q4 FY 2019 earnings of $1.15 per share (versus $0.97 per share in Q4 FY 2018), missing analysts' consensus estimate of $1.16 per share.
